This year's theme, "Forests and innovation: new solutions for a better world," guided the day's activities aimed at raising awareness among visitors about the significance of plants in our lives.
The event commenced with a doodle art session at the Education Centre of the National Zoological Park, encouraging visitors to participate. Following this, a film showcasing Mission-LiFE was screened, engaging attendees in discussions about environmental conservation initiatives.
To further involve visitors, a tree plantation drive was organized around a recently rejuvenated water body. Staff members of the National Zoological Park actively participated in planting trees during this activity.
Sustainable management of forests and their resources plays a crucial role in combating climate change and ensuring the well-being of current and future generations. It is imperative that we employ innovative techniques to protect these invaluable natural resources.
