A one-day workshop on water use efficiency, organized by the Bureau of Water Use Efficiency (BWUE) under the National Water Mission (NWM) and the Indian Plumbing Association (IPA), was held on January 27, 2025, at the NDMC Convention Centre in New Delhi. The event, inaugurated by Union Minister of Jal Shakti, C.R. Patil, brought together over 350 stakeholders, including policymakers, industry leaders, and water management experts, to discuss strategies for enhancing water efficiency in the domestic sector.
Minister Patil emphasized the government's commitment to water conservation, stressing the importance of collaborative partnerships and innovation to address water scarcity challenges.
Technological Advances and Collaborative Approaches
The workshop featured discussions on technological advancements and policy initiatives aimed at improving water efficiency.
